[Enter Snazzy Title Here]
So...what's happened in the time that I've been gone...
-Painted my room
-Possibly almost got asked out (but didn't -sighs-)
-Learned to hate my job
Yeah, not much has happened. And since I'm sitting on my floor with objects strewn around me, I should just bitch and go clean up, but now that firefox has saved my log-in information, I'll be much more diligent. Promise.
Fuck the basement. My brother can live under my parents thumb and their house, but I'm moving out.
There, I said it.
My mother actually wouldn't let me go study with Ashley for our freakin' midterm because "[I'm] never around enough. [I'm] either at school, or work, or out with your friends."
Well, no shit. I'm in university. They supported me getting a job last summer. Am I just supposed to stop having a social life because they won't take me out driving so I can get my N and more independence?
Hell no.
So as of now, I'll probably have to walk everywhere, but oh well. And then she threatened to never finish the basement. They do realize that I plan to move out, don't they?
I mean, I never rebelled. Never, not once. I never got odd piercings or dated bad boys or did drugs. I was good. The only freedom I wanted was my room. Just one place where I could be myself, but they won't give me that. They won't give me that? I'll just move. I'd like to see them bitch about me never being around when I don't live with them. Hah!
God, I must sound like a spoiled brat. But I'm pissed, and moody, and my mother's been taking shots at me all day, and then...ugh. Hate my family.
Heh, wonder when I should break the news to them about Warped2010 and how I'm going. Should probably wait for this to blow over a little...
Toodles, chums.

Ta da!
And, yes, thank you for the acknowledgement. It is I, Maggie, you're heroine extraordinare.
(I forgot my username again.)
What to say, what to say. Well, I finished my first week of college with flying colours. I even made an aquaitance or two. Very good, if I do say so myself, for an anti-social girl. Classes are interesting, campus is lively, it's very good. And, there's a Tim Horton's right there in the lobby, so there's a never ending stream of flavoured caffine when I need it. Yay.
I drove for the first time today. Like, an hour ago. Very exciting stuff. My instructor's an old British man, and he's lovely. He's all like 'Stay on your side of the road, please." and "brake gently, please." Very nice stuff. And I only brushed the car against an overgrown bush. No one died. No one maimed. I'm very pleased with myself.
Uhm... What else... I'm totally screwed for November. I'll probably lose. Like, most definetly lose. It's rather sad-making to think about, so I just won't. I'll live in happy denial for all of eternity.
Or until November hits and I'm left at the scene of a terrible wreck between creativity and school obligations. It'll be a spectacular explosion.
Nothing else? Fabulous.
Ta ta for now, mon amies.

Who You Gonna Call?
I might have forgotten about all blogs for a month or so, but that's not why I'm pathetic.
Oh, thank you, Kate! I owe you for life for signing the petition! (Good news, but I'll talk about it when I get everyone else caught up)
So, we're all 90's children, right? I mean, we're all in the same boat.
Anyone remember those old saturday morning cartoons? Beetle Borgs, Power Rangers (the good one), Pepper Ann, etc etc? Well, most specifically, I remember Extreme Ghostbusters, which, as far as I'm concerned, the best cartoon ever made, possibly excluding the Real Ghostbusters, but
I would be hard pressed to actually say that.
Well anyways, in my travels to become the biggest geek on the lovely planet earth, I started to youtube old episodes, and I must say, they are wonderful. I mean, look at this new Ghostbusting cast! Tell me they aren't fabulous! (but please don't)
My favorite's Eduardo. He's the brunet in the front -drools-
Anyways. I was in EGB bliss until every user on youtube deleted their egb episodes off the internet. Gone, dissapeared forever! I was crushed. I might have almost cried.
This is where Kate Lewis comes in! She signed a petition I found to have Extreme Ghostbusters released on DVD (76 signatures) and she drooled over the amazing cast with me as she put up with me ranting about how wonderful they were.
Kate! It's times like this that I wish you really were Australian. Because, as you heard, they're releasing the first 13 episodes onto DVD in Australia and France. Weird, right? But people guess it'll be here soon.
Now, the next logical thought would be, buy it anyway and pay extra money to have the set shipped here from Australia. Well, I'm with you on that, but there are two problems.
One: The DVD's are set so they only play on Australian Standard players
and Two: They're sold out. All of the pre-orders are gone.
I take that as a good omen, but I'm severly bummed.
To pass the time, take a gander at this episode. One of the surviving five on youtube.
Love!~

-Poof of Smoke-
I'm none to impressed with this summer vacation so far. And believe me, you shall know why in mere seconds if you continue to read.
Did anyone else go 'Summer, thank god, a rest!'? I did. Oops, I lied to myself.
This has been the most hetic two weeks of my life.
I have a million projects I need to work on. Five stories that need updating and tending, plans for November to create and tend to, work (well, not yet, but I've had to train...), and family matters. It's rediclous! I miss school. But not high school. I'm suprised, but I don't feel sad that I won't be back.
Watch me be a balling mess at mystery box, though.
Nothing's really happened, so I don't know what to say...
I added Selkies to the Mythical Creature Catelogue, Nicole! It was epic.
Sooo... Yeah. -shuffles awkwardly- I think I'm gonna go for now... Also, I've decided to make this place less about my novel-writing endeavors and just leave it so I can keep in touch with y'all throughout the years to come, because we might not be seeing each other for long periods of time!
Except for Nicole and Jakalee in November. I'll tie you two to a post in my basement until November is over. We shall all be winners!
Oh! I'm re-doing my room. Complete fixer-upper. I need paint. Lots and lots of paint. And therefore, paint colours. Jacquie told me Maggie seems like a girl who would have a green room, and I didn't really know how to respond to that, so what colour should I do my room? And when I say colours, I'm talking really bright, bold colours. BRIGHT!
Toodles for now, darlings.
OH, Natalie. I can't make the beach Thursday. I finally remembered what's happening. I have to go with my mom into West Van, and then.. WE SHOP! Looking forward to it.
Ta Ta for now!

WIN!
I'm sorry, but I'm physched right now. I just found out the results of the Twilighter's Choice Awards, which I previously mentioned that Zeh Redheaded Wondah, Jakalee and I were all nominated for, and we're all winners!
Well, kind of. In my mind, we're all winners :)
Let's start with -drum roll- Zeh Redheaded Wondah!
This darling Twilight-hater won second place in Best Use of an Overly Used Plotline! Yay for her!
Jakalee, my darling, she won second place as well for her School Projects in the Best All Human caregory! Congrats, darling!
Thirdly, myself. I came in third place for Best All Human with In the Dark - Jakalee beat me - and FIRST PLACE for Best Romantic One-Shot with Broken. -big grin-
Also, Jakalee, Saturday School came in second for Best Collaboration. Epic fail on the voters part. Nobody should bear Saturday School, me thinks. -sighs-
Now, lovely people, if you want to show me you love me, you could vote for me for a Bellie Award here: http://www.thecatt.net/tw/Default.aspx
Vote for Jakalee, Z.R.H.W and I so we don't have to vote for ourselves and eachother. Please!?
Live long a prosper!

Beam Me Up, Scotty.
Star Trek taught me that no matter how geeky the subject is, and how looked down upon it has been since the '60's, as long as you pump it full of action and hot men, it's all good. Yes, your movie can completly sell out the theatre and captivate audiences that are not filled with Trekkies.
It was epic. Although not once that I can tell, did Kirk ever say 'Beam me up, Scotty', which was such a shame, because I thought that line was supposed to be iconic. They did say, however, 'Live long and prosper' with the little hand motion. -big grin-
Goodness, this post is rather...lame.
Maybe tonight I'll do more late History homework while watching Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. That's right, Jakalee, I might watch it without you. Although, to be fair, you did see the end of Underworld 2 without me, albeit that wasn't your fault... But the movie is just sitting there, waiting to be watched before it has to be returned. and my mom did get it for me to see...
My mom also lent me her old book on fairies (except I just spelt it wrong) faeries. Yes, faeries. That's how you spell it. It's rather amazing, and I love it, and I'm kind of happy that I'm kind of following in her footsteps a little bit. She used to read fokelore and do tarot cards. Now she's kind of a neat-freak and doesn't read at all.
Yeah, that won't be me hopefully.
I'm kind of out of things to say, and I don't really have anything to post for me novel because I haven't written anything new because I've been so swamped with other things.
But I shall post a rather tricky question for you. One that if you answer correctly, I will thank you in my published acknowledgements when my book is printed, and I might just dedicate the whole thing to you.
I need names, and that's all.
The first name is for a restaurant. It's this world's equivalant to our Earl's, where servers and employees are selected by facial symmetry and their outward beauty. Their unofficial motto? 'Skills can be taught, beauty can't be.' I need the name for the restaurant. Something that fits without being obvious.
The second is the name for the actual place. It'll be in an unspecified part of North America, but I need the name for the town. It's split into two sections, one it the subburb, the other the downtown area. Think Port Coquitlam & downtown Vancouver. Or even better, just Vancouver. But I need an original name. Feel free to steal it from another continent, it'll make it trippier.
Please, please, please help me!
It seems my usual phrase is rather self-sufficent, so I will simply say, good luck.
-giggles at self- You won't understand until you watch Star Trek.
Anddd, this post has come full circle.
